Firemens Festival Parade
Hometown Tradition
Kick off the Firemen's Festival by attending or participating in the annual parade.
The parade route is roughly half a mile from Indiana St. to East street via Plymouth St. through downtown Bremen. The bandstand is located at Center & Plymouth Street.
Judged Categories:
Auto/Truck 59 - Older, 60-80, 81+
Bands - 1st, 2nd, 3rd
Dance - 1st & 2nd
Farm & Field - Antique, Commercial
Floats - 1st, 2nd, 3rd
Twirlers - 1st & 2nd
Best in Show (Fire Department)
Firemen's Choice (Best in Show)
We request you enter the lineup from South Marshall St at the intersection of Grant St. (in front of the High School) Unless otherwise noted on your confirmation letter (Semis, Fire trucks & Farm Equipment)
Candy Policy: If you are distributing candy we prefer that it be handed out by walkers vs. thrown from a vehicle for the safety of the spectators. If candy is going to be thrown from a vehicle the driver assumes all responsibility to ensure it is distributed away from the vehicle and that everyone is clear of the vehicle before operation.
Water/Squirt Gun Policy: Not Allowed - No Exceptions
Awards: Most awards will be handed out at the Bandstand, except Marching Bands, Twirlers & Cheering, these award recipients will be contacted immediately after the parade ends and awards will be available at the Fair Office (Sunny Side Park) roughly 1 hour after the parade ends.

There is no cost to enter the annual parade, however, you will need to submit an application for approval at least one week prior to the event. An approval letter will be sent confirming your entry and line-up location roughly 24-hours prior to the event.
